Mintex M1144 brake pads are designed for high performance, fast road use and can be used for track days if not pushed too hard, but a very popular upgrade for those who drive their road car fast. The compound has a medium friction level at around 0.4 and remains consistent to a maximum operating temperature of 500°c, with a flat friction curve and positive pressure modulation and fade resistance upto 400°c.
They offer a superb bite from cold and are suitable for trackdays, hillclimbs and performance driving. There are no specific bedding in details for this compound and they wear well on standard brake discs, with dust levels similar to standard fitment pads.
